The Late Policy
High quality work is submitted on time. Students do not do well with new assignment tasks when they still have overdue assignments to contend with.
Penalties
| No Penalty
You submit your work at the start of class on the DUE DATE. – 5 Penalty You do not have the assignment ready at the start of class, but you complete the task at lunch and submit it to your science teacher before the days end. -15 Penalty You work on a late assignment in class (i.e. You have a new assignment, but you choose to work on the assignment you were supposed to already have done). â–ºFull Penalty (You Receive a ZERO score). You do not submit the assignment on the DUE DATE. |
Absentee Version
No Penalty (But you were absent on the due date). On the class immediately following the due date (i.e. your first science class back) you submit your work.
For extended absence (2 or more classes of science missed) see your science teacher about DUE DATE EXTENTIONS. |
